Wow I Suck At Blogging

I get on here all the time..just never find the time to post anything! So I am making it a goal to post something at least twice a week!! Anyways summer is almost over and I cant wait! I am excited for the cooler weather, the changing of the leaves, and the sweaters! What about you? Happy summer is almost over?

So I havent done much scrapbooking lately. Been busy trying to find a job and doing fun family stuff before the summer ends! We took Lucy on her first camping trip over the weekend and she had a blast! I got some great pictures of her. We also went to Crater Lake and drove around the enitre rim. It was so beautiful! Yesterday we took Lucy to the Oregon State Fair. She loved all the animals!!

I just picked up pictures today from our camping trip so hopefully I can finally get some scraping done! Hope you all have a wonderful Labor day weekend!!

Its Been Forever!!!

Wow I haven't posted anything on here in a really long time! Things have been crazy since I have been back in Oregon. Catching up with family and friends, trying to find a job, and just enjoying being home!! I havent scrapped much lately because I have been so busy..but I think I am gonna lock myself up in my room tomorrow and start scrapping. I have so many new pictures of Lucy and my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary is coming up so I am going to make them something special!

The weather has been so hot here lately..it reached 110 today and its supposed to be in the 100s pretty much all week :( I really hope its not that hot up in Seattle this weekend because my sister and I are going to the Kenny Chesney concert and I dont think I could survive standing in that hot of weather all day!

I Wish The Day Was Over!

Tonight Lucy and I will be making our way back to Oregon! I am so excited to see my family but I hate flying with a baby! I have done it many times and its not that its hard..I just worry all the time. We are taking a red eye so that way Lucy will sleep the entire time..and hopefully I will get a little..I normally don't but we will see! Once I get to Oregon tomorrow morning (4 o'clock Hawaii time..yikes) I am gonna hit the mall and go shopping! Kauai has no stores at its mall..just a Macy's so I haven't been shopping in such a long time! And then I am going to surprise my niece Kinsley at her preschool and pick her up..she is so in love with Lucy and I cant wait to see the look on her face when she sees her! Later tomorrow evening we will be going to Kinsley's preschool graduation and then dinner afterwards to celebrate her graduation and my nephews 2nd birthday which is Thursday. So much to do tomorrow and I am going to be sooooo tired but I CANT WAIT!!!!!!

A Very Annoying Day!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day!! Mine wasn't all that great..but I didn't expect it to be. Anyways today hasn't been a great day..Lucy did not sleep well last night. I think she is getting her 1 year molars. She woke up at about 3 o'clock just screaming..so I tried to calm her down by giving her some milk..but she didnt't want it..so then I picked her up and tried rocking her but she didn't like that either..everything I tried she didn't like..so after about an hour of her crying I finally got her to go back to sleep! So I have been tired today!

I finished my LO for sketch 142 over at Scrapbook Challenges .I tried to send it in yesterday but for some reason my email wasn't working nor was my myspace. So here it is!

We also have an awesome new challenge this week from Rowena! Her challenge is to use the word Precious in your title and as a twist use a sepia photo! Also this week we also have a technique challenge from Marilyn! Her challenge has to do with stamps and is a techniquecalled "kissing stamps" it sounds like a fun and awesome technique. I can't wait to try it!

Here is another LO I got done last week sometime. Its for Cathys challenge over at Scrapbook challenges. Her challenge was to use at least one flower and one butterfly. Fun challenge!!

Its so stinkin hot!!

I was really looking forward to working on some LOs today, but it is so stinkin hot in the house I just cant :( Most houses in Hawaii dont have AC which is odd since its warm all the time..but I guess its probably because electricity here is so expensive!! Hopefully tomorrow i can get some done!

My First Post

This weekend was pretty good! Lucy and I went with Daddy to his remote broadcast at the St. Catherines School carnival. Lucy had fun playing at the park. I took her to her first petting zoo and she loved it. She kept making "moo" sounds at all the animals. Sunday we spent the day at the beach because it was sooo hot in the house! Not a crazy weekend, finally, but we had fun!
